Finance Overview

Every entity, every approval — on one screen the board can trust

LIVE INTERACTIVE DEMO

The close that runs itself.

A 60-second walk through a live finance system — invoices approved on a logged trail, every entity consolidated and tying, the board pack built once, and the money a slow manual close is quietly costing you. Built for the FD, not for show.

DRAWING NO. OPS·FIN·01 SHEET 1 / 1 REV. A
Month-end close · built for multi-company finance

Month-end eats the first week.
And the books still won’t tie.

A close that lands in days, books that tie across every entity, and a board pack that builds itself — without the 3am scramble. Built in weeks. Yours to own.

SECTION 02

Where the close quietly leaks.

Close pain rarely shouts — it’s the journal someone re-keys by hand, the entity that won’t tie until midnight, the board pack rebuilt from scratch every period. Logged here, the way a financial controller would — with what each one actually costs.

  1. 01 Close eats week one Every month opens with a week lost to closing the last one — and it never gets shorter. LOST WEEK
  2. 02 Books won’t tie Intercompany balances drift, the group never quite reconciles, and you’re chasing a few pounds at midnight. WON’T TIE
  3. 03 Journals keyed by hand The same adjusting entries get re-typed every period, and one slip throws the whole month. MANUAL JOURNAL
  4. 04 No live view of the close Nobody can see where the close stands without pinging the team and stitching the answer together. NO VISIBILITY
  5. 05 Board pack runs late The pack is rebuilt by hand each period, so the numbers land after the board already needed them. LATE PACK
  6. 06 Same figure, re-keyed Each entity keeps its own export, and the group numbers get re-typed instead of flowing in. RE-KEYING
SECTION 02B · FIELD REPORTS

You’re not imagining it.

Real reviews from finance teams running the close and consolidation tools you’ve likely priced — describing the exact problem, in their own words. These are their public reviews of other software, not testimonials for OpsMavix.

Our subs went from £26 to £33 in August; then up again to £47 this month. That’s an 81% increase in 8 months!

SECTION 03 · TOLERANCE

You’ve priced the consolidation suite. You’ve outgrown the spreadsheet. There’s a middle.

Six-figure consolidation suites you’d never own on one side; a tangle of spreadsheets that won’t tie on the other. We build the band in between — and there’s no migration. Your books stay exactly where they are; we sit over Xero, Sage and QuickBooks and add the close and consolidation layer on top, live in weeks, yours to own outright.

SECTION 04 · SPECIFICATION

What we draft into one system.

Three things that end the lost week — a close that runs to a checklist, a group that ties on its own, a board pack that’s already built. Shaped around the entities you already run, not a template.

OUT-01

A guided close checklist

Every close task routed, tracked and ticked in one place — so the team knows what’s done, what’s blocking, and the close runs to a plan instead of memory.

Replaces: spreadsheet checklists · status calls · "are we done yet?"

OUT-02

Multi-entity consolidation that ties

Each entity’s ledger flows in, intercompany nets out and the group reconciles automatically — so the books tie without a midnight chase across exports.

Replaces: manual journals · per-entity exports · Excel by hand

OUT-03

A board pack that builds itself

The numbers, the variances and the commentary assembled the moment the close lands — one pack, ready, instead of rebuilt from scratch every period.

Replaces: hand-built decks · stitched exports · 3am rework

SECTION 05 · AS-IS / TO-BE

Same month-end. One drawing apart.

AS-IS · NO SYSTEM

The trial balance won’t tie. Intercompany is a few thousand out, the adjusting journals get re-keyed by hand, and the board pack is rebuilt from exports. Close stretches to ten days and the first week of every month is gone.

Won’t tie · 10-day close
TO-BE · WITH OPSMAVIX

Each entity flows into one consolidation, intercompany nets out and the group ties on its own. The close runs to a checklist and the board pack assembles itself — month-end lands in three days and the first week of the month is yours again.

Tied · 3-day close
SECTION 06 · BILL OF SCOPE

Three build sizes. Fixed scope.

Pick the band you’re in — the exact number lands in your plan before anything gets built.

A consolidation suite or full ERP runs £250k+ and a year to roll out — for the close you’d use a fraction of. These builds are fixed-scope, live in weeks, and yours to own.

A Starter Fix £3k–£10k A guided close checklist with a live view of where month-end stands.
B Growth System £10k–£25k A close checklist, multi-entity consolidation that ties and a board pack that builds itself.
C Operations Platform £25k+ A connected finance system across close, consolidation and group reporting.

Scoped before you commit

You see the exact figure and everything that gets built in your plan — before you pay to build a thing.

G-02

Delivery guaranteed, in writing

We guarantee delivery of what’s scoped. Not a results promise — a delivery one we put on paper.

G-03

You own it outright

No per-seat fees, no lock-in, no vendor sunset. The system is yours to keep and to change.

Built & backed by the founder

You talk to the person who builds it — not a reseller, not a support queue, not a sales rep.

SECTION 07 · NOTES

Drafting notes.

N01Do we have to migrate off Xero / Sage / QuickBooks?
No. Your books stay exactly where they are. We don’t replace your accounting system or touch the ledger — we sit over Xero, Sage or QuickBooks and add the close and consolidation layer on top. Each entity stays the system of record; we build the checklist, the consolidation and the board pack around them. No rip-and-replace, no risk to your books.
N02We own it — so no per-entity fee escalation?
You own the build outright. No per-seat licence, no per-entity fee that climbs as you add companies, no vendor that can raise the price or switch it off. It runs on infrastructure you control and it’s yours to keep and change. Add an entity and it’s a scope change, not a forced upgrade tier.
N03Do we replace our accounting tools?
No — those stay. Xero, Sage and QuickBooks keep doing what they do well; we add only what they don’t: the guided close, the multi-entity consolidation and the board pack. The accounting tools stay the system of record and the data flows in instead of being re-keyed.
N04What does it cost?
Most finance builds land between £3k and £25k+, fixed-scope. You get the exact number in your plan before you commit to building anything — and you own what we build.
